NaNoWriMo – Day Twenty-Four

I’m sick.

That’s the beginning and end of it.  Went to bed with a slightly sore throat and woke up with a raging sore throat, tight chest, and achy body.

I slept in, and didn’t do much during the day but take meds, drink fluids, and cough.  This evening, I sat and made myself write, and I’m excited because I actually wrote a nice chunk of text that doesn’t suck too-too badly, LOL

I’m not sure if I’ll work on the manuscript tomorrow – I have an idea for a short screenplay that I promised an actress acquaintance of mine I would write and let her read.
We’ll see how that goes.

Today’s word count:  3,530

Overall word count:  56,620

    Wow, I am not worthy! So not worthy! I’ve been distracted w/freelance work and the new blog, blah, blah, blah, excuse, excuse, excuse. But I’m getting back to my WIP on Wed.

    Thanks for the comment, Carleen, :-) I’m off this week for Thanksgiving break, and even with my body feeling like crap, I drag the laptop over to get some words down, LOL It’s about the only thing I have energy for!

    DON’T MAKE ME CUT YOU, JC. See, you made me get violent, LOL – which isn’t hard to do, but still, LOL

    You have written nearly 20k…that’s a BIG accomplishment. Now, the goal is to get the writing in when you can to finish this project off!

    Ugh, it must be going around. My nose is hyper-red from so much sneezing. Think i got it from my niece and nephews this weekend – they were all sniffly. I’m traveling for business this week and next, praying that this cold resolves itself really fast :)

    Thanks, Carmen, :-) I know I got it from students…EVERYONE has been sniffling, coughing, sneezing for the last several weeks. I tried to get away from it, but it caught me – right for the holidays, LOL
